The Trash Alphabet

On a single walk at Ocean Beach in San Francisco, I collected enough garbage to fill two large bags. Sifting through the pile of mostly plastic and metal revealed an alphabet of trash. Photographed on a stark white background, the discarded objects become almost architectural and beautiful. Let these letterforms be a poignant reminder that this is the alphabet of today, not of some far off future. A is for Action because there is no Planet B.
